high-risk obstetrics

Complications during pregnancy are unsettling for everyone. At Virginia Women's Center, we know that even minor complications can cause significant concern. That's why we're always here for you, to answer your questions and offer the best treatment for you.

Treating complications begins with specialized care. Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists are obstetrician/gynecologists with advanced knowledge of the obstetrical, medical, genetic and surgical complications of pregnancy and their effects on both the mother and fetus.

At Virginia Women's Center, we believe maternal-fetal medicine is so important to prenatal care that we have our very own maternal-fetal medicine staff. Dr. Jessica DeMay, Dr. Lisa Troyer and staff have easy access to patient files and are able to collaborate easily with your doctor.

Our ultrasound unit is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). This accreditation is the hallmark of a practice that meets the standards of patient care, including the consistent demonstration of medical excellence and dedication to keeping current with ultrasound technology.
