Rodrick N. Love, M.D.
Dr. Love received numerous awards and honors during his undergraduate work at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and during medical school and his residency. Adorning his office walls, the awards represent hard work, leadership and support of other students and staff. As a research fellow in maternal-fetal medicine, he has contributed a great deal to the discipline of obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Love is an avid community volunteer. He is a Trustee at Mount Vernon Baptist Church and also serves as music director there. He and his wife, a Richmond dermatologist, are part of a band called Capital Funk, which performs at medical society functions and other events. At home they have three Jack Russell Terriers (Ike, Tina and Deuce) and three children, Josef (age 7), Miles (21 months), and Mason (21 months).
