Gynecology | Weight & WellnessThroughout every age and every stage, Dr. Jefferson encourages preventative care and health maintenance. She looks forward to managing the care of her patients across the full spectrum of women’s health.
In particular, Dr. Jefferson has a special interest in working with adolescent patients as she helps them learn about the unique situations women experience as young adults. She enjoys educating these patients about abstinence, birth control options and irregular cycles. Additionally, Dr. Jefferson is board-certified in obesity management and is passionate about helping women who struggle with their weight and wellness.
Dr. Jefferson is skilled in laparoscopy and trained in using the daVinci® Surgical System for minimally invasive procedures. For her post-menopausal patients, she stresses the importance of preventative care and choosing healthy lifestyles
Dr. Jefferson is married to Rodney Jefferson and they have three children, a stepdaughter, Brittany, a son, Justin, and a daughter, Gabrielle. She stays active by participating in outdoor sports, playing tennis and biking. Dr. Jefferson enjoys spending time with her family, doing volunteer work with Richmond area youth, practicing photography, enjoying the arts, traveling and participating in her church.
