After providing office-based OB-GYN care in the Northern Neck for over 20 years, Matthew F. Vogel, M.D. joined our Virginia Women’s Center team in April of 2014. Dr. Vogel practices at our Kilmarnock location.

Dr. Vogel loves caring for women of all ages and stages. He is as inspired by helping women through pregnancy as he is helping teens or women at midlife with their unique medical needs.  Dr. Vogel enjoys getting to know new patients, and more often than not, they leave feeling incredibly comfortable in his care—like they’ve known him for years.

Dr. Vogel received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in Rolla and his dentistry degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. After graduating from dental school, he attended the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. Dr. Vogel completed his internship and residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Vogel is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In his spare time, Dr. Vogel enjoys spending time with his family, reading, fishing and kayaking. He also stays active by volunteering at the Northern Neck Free Health Clinic.
